now that Jon Sim has been released, I fully expect the bad mojo to leave the team and they'll turn it around.
straight face
who am I kidding, we're losing again tonight.

When is Cappy getting fired... Christmas freeze is coming. Not sure if coaches are exempt from it.
Not sure what I want more... Cappy fired or the top pick overall.
Cappy can definitely help with that.
But I also want them to step it up... really want Vanek to resign.
Need defensive help... I'm willing to take Phaneuf @ this time.
Wang needs to put up some money.
If Garth doesn't fie Cappy soon... then it's time to axe Garth!!! |

I was looking at some stats and they are pretty depressing. After 34 games the Isles have only 4 current players with more than 4 goals. Here’s the top ten:
Taveres 13
Okposo 10
Nielsen 10
Vanek 6 (10 total for the year)
Moulson 6 (11 total for the year)
Bailey 4
Bouchard 4
MacDonald 3
Nelson 3
Cizikas 3
Tavares is on pace to score 31 goals. Okposo, Nielsen, and Vanek are on pace to score 24. Everyone else 10 or less.

The isles will win all 3 games this week and Strome will score tonight. I've been fed up with this team this year but, I have feeling the team is going to turn things around and make a push for the playoffs. Nabakov isn't the best goalie in the league but, I think he has a huge positive influence on this team. I remember the turn around came last year when the Islanders had lost bunch of games in a row and were down 2 against Montreal. The team looked lost and skating like they were chasing butterflies somewhat like this year and Nabokov skated to the bench during a TV timeout and laid into the team. Everyone on the bench had their eyes on him. they came back a different team and won that game then went on their winning run to make the playoffs. |

I would place a number at ten to twenty per game. |

Let's use a 15/game average. That puts him on pace for 1,230 turnovers this season. Assuming he doesn't get injured (or benched ). |

I've yet to see anything this season that leads me to believe our luck would turn around like that.... |
